The FBI Do Follow Blog Search

I'm very excited to be introducing The FBI Do Follow Blog Search Engine. I wanted to make it easier for you to find tons of blogs in your niche that you can build back-links from. So I started to compile a list of do follow blogs that would last longer than the sites I've been using to find them, the list started to grow and grow some more, to the point where it was over 20 pages and 1017 blogs long. I figured this was too many blogs to list so I made a Custom Search Enginewith them. Enjoy it, build links with it and get to the top of the SERP's with it.

Blog Of The Month - John Chow

I'm happy to give April's blog of the month to fellow Canadian Blogger John Chow. Another "make money online" type of blog but what I love the most about it is how real and upfront he is about his strategies and techniques, he's not scared to give away his best kept blogging/making money secrets to his loyal followers. If you haven't stopped by his blog you should check it out now, he also offers a free ebook with mailing subscription!

You may have heard of people getting banned from Adsense and that happened because people can sometimes be stupid and greedy by committing Click Fraud. When it comes to Adsense use common sense and you should be fine. Here are some ways you can get banned from adsense (aka. The Adsense Don'ts).

Building your site for Adsense

This one is sometime hard to tell but Adsense is for companies to get their ads in front of actual users if you build your site specifically for Adsense then you are not following what the whole thing is meant to accomplish and you can get banned.

Telling people to click your ads

This one is pretty straight forward if you make a post or a banner or anything directing people to click your ads then you will be banned!

Hiding your ads

A good strategy with Adsense is to make your ads blend in with the site (which I will talk about in a future post) but there is a difference between hiding your ads and blending your ads. Hiding your ads would mean placing them behind an image or a place that your reader could click without properly seeing the ad. For this you will be banned.

Altering the Adsense Code

Wherever you place your ad on the site and no matter how many times you move it around do not change the code! It could be tempting and easier just to change the color or font in the html code but stear clear because it could get you banned.

Using Clickbots

Some people think up schemes and scams to get clicks, one of them being a bot that goes on your site and clicks your ads for you. Without saying this will get you banned faster that you can say "clickbot".

Hiring people to click your ads

This one is pretty old and almost non-existent now but there used to be sites where you could pay people to click your ads, it may seem like a good blog idea but it will get you banned eventually.

Getting friends to click your ads

It may seem like a genius plan "I'll call jimmy and get him to click my ads everyday...I'll be rich!" but obviously google has seen this sort of scam before. They track the IP address and if it says that one address clicked your ads 50 times today, which looks very fishy, then you will get banned.

Clicking your own ads

This one is the most obvious of all, do not click your own ads... and thats all I have to say about this one.

Taboo Content

Adsense does support sites that contain inappropriate content or pictures and can ban you if you have any of the following on your site
  • weapons, including guns
  • drug content
  • alcohal
  • tobacco
  • pornography
  • designer knock offs
Duplicate content

If you are copying articles or content from other sites and a) claiming it as your own or b) don't have permission to use it you can be banned from Adsense.

Basically don't use any tactics that are going to force, trick or sneak people into clicking your ads. If you follow these Don'ts of Adsense you will be on your way to a long and happy relationship with Adsense.

Comment and let me know if I've missed any important points or tell me about an experience you or someone you know had with Adsense.
